how did everyone survive? I was cut from all 3 top houses. I am devastated because girls from a tip top Sorority kept telling me I was a shoe in! What happened??

I am a PNM as well. I got cut from the top 3 as well. But I went back to the houses I was invited back to. I looked at each one differently and can truly see myself in any of them. Hang in there! We could be sisters!!

I call BS. I've never heard of any sorority telling a girl they were a "shoe in"....That is one promise you cannot make to any girl.

I went back to 8, but two where on the list of sororities I ranked bottom 3 because I was cut by ChiO & Tri Delta. Totally expecyes this & not bitter at all. I just hope I get to go back to 5 for sisterhood!

I keep hearing Top 3 but after this week I don't feel those 3 are any better than anyone else!
As of yesterday I still had, XO, Kappa, Pi Phi, Phi Mu, DG, AOPi, Theta and Alpha Phi.

They are called that for a lot of reasons including having the highest return rates during rush. Also strong retention rates, good GPAs and other such things. And history - Chi O was the first chapter founded here followed by Tri Delt. KD wasn't far behind.

It really doesn't matter. All that matters are the houses you like. wishing you luck to the one you want.
