Not trying to rain on your parade because this may be an innocent suggestion to share opinions, but the risk is that we will influence another girl's decisions when we all need to be true to our own process. The reason there are so many houses is so that each PNM can find the right fit (or fits to be more likely) for her-- not so that I fall into lockstep with others PNMs who may have met different sisters today. I really intend this as gently as possible. Let's help make this recruitment week as positive as possible. We all do that by being open-minded and encouraging. It can be the different between disappointment and cheers on bid day. I want all of us to have that happy kind of day next Sunday, but it won't happen if we all decide to like the same house or two or three. lol
This seems as good a place to post this message from another discussion. I need to read and maybe it will encourage you too.
I'm not going to debate you on the merits of each house. I could see myself in any house because I've met wonderful women from all of them.
I just want to point out that your sweeping generalizations are exactly why pnms will be nervous wrecks during recruitment and feel like their futures are being determined over the course of a danged week. Absolute nonsense. You are fanning the flames of their anxiety and fears AND TEARS on bid day. To what end?
The real sad thing won't be not getting a bid to your favorite house but declining the bid from another house because you've listen to simple-minded gossip. The people spreading this simplistic and reductive view of different houses do not actually care about pnms. They don't care that if you outright reject all the houses on rebel drive or vice versa that you may miss out on the joy of being asked to join a sorority and meeting people, leadership opportunities, fun parties, and fundraising for very important causes. My sincere hope for all PNMs is that you will not let these gossiping fear mongers win and steal your joy! This week is yours for the taking. Do not let anyone else (whether online gossips or girls on your hall or someone's mom from Jackson) take this experience from you. No one else should define your happiness! HYDR - go get 'em!

I was happily surprised at Phi Mu, Pi Phi and DG... they really made me feel at home
I didn't like any of the top three that everyone raves about. They felt fake to me and I'm from out of state anyway.
Everyone else was Fine... I really liked the girls at Theta and thought they did a great job
