rankings based on data

by: Just for Fun

It seems a few people are interested in an updated statistical ranking. Using the same method to accumulated the data that I previously used: 1. Actual Member Totals 2. Retention Rates 3. Overall Growth rates over a 3 year period 4. Current GPA averages and 5. GPA growth. Each category was given equal weight to determine the statistical ranking.

Based on the above mentioned criteria: KD is still holding the top spot, next would be DDD, then Chi-O, closely followed by Pi Phi, Phi Mu and AOPi (in that order); next in line and tied for the 7th spot would DG and ADPi, Kappa would be followed by Theta for the 8th and 9th place. I did not include Alpha Phi in the ranking because they have not been on campus for three full reporting years.

As I said before, this ranking is based solely on numbers. I do feel using this method can give an indication of sorority satisfaction (retention rates) and member quality (GPA) as well as using actual membership totals to determine viability. It is not an exact science however and will in no way replace someone's personal preference.

Hey @Just for Fun!
Can you do a breakdown of quota, return rates, pledges, legacies..... basically anything that will give some information/data based on this years rush?

I do realize what really matters is who is happy where and it's a personal thing, but I love to see anything broken down in statistics using numbers and real data. Super Cool!! Thanks!

Btw, all our houses did great!
