not many if any

state isn't a big greek school. i don't think many people care what house they get into.

better question is how many pnms do you think msu got from us when we lost the egg bowl? i'm willing to bet a few 100

while not as big of a greek school as we are, they are still a big greek school and people definitely care about what house they get in, and thats why we get a couple of girls every year that dropped out of rush, transfer here and rush.

we usually get like 10-15. girls know our rush is way harder, so they'll only transfer here if they have solid connections at a legacy chapter or something.

How can they transfer so late? I mean isn't all of the housing already accounted for? Not to mention wouldn't the sororities know that they were dropped at state and came here? I'm not saying I don't believe it but it just seems like such a hassle

Well they enroll in both schools and keep it quiet. State rush ended first day of classes, and we didn't start classes until 5 days later. It is minimal expense to register at both schools and they hedge their bets.

Most fly under the radar at State hoping to get the house they want. Usually a strong legacy but not in house it State legacy. More work to move in twice but that is the biggest expense. Probably an Ole Miss true legacy and more in house connections.

Last year moving trucks showed up at dorms in Starkville with hired workers to empty dorm rooms.

@Hm

Wow that's actually unbelievable and sounds kind of crazy. I guess some people will do anything to get into the sorority they want. I almost feel bad for them. Go where you're accepted not where you have to buy your way in.

well thats kinda the sad thing about in-state/ MS girls... everybody gets so wrapped up in "top tier" here- but honestly they are just filled with sad girls like this- girls that will do anything to be so called "top tier" instead of girls trying to find friends where they will fit in and make lasting connections. These are the same girls that will graduate and move back to Jackson or whatever pathetic place in MS they are from and perpetuate the "top tier" myth that lives on at this school (and at state)- never moving on in their lives.

don't Ole Miss sororitys know which girls do that? It would seem easy to me to spot those girls who left MSU to go to Ole Miss and be labelled.
