going out before rush

what bars are for 18+ ??? Is it okay to drink before rush? Also how strict are bars that you are actually the age limit.. if one of my friends came who was 17 could they get into the 18+ possibly with a fake??

I was wondering all these things too! Thanks for the answer. One last question. So do you just borrow someone's ID and give it back or then how do they use theirs??? Would it be best to get a fake that just says your 18? Thanks so much
