rushing for sorority fall 2017
by: TU06I will be a freshman this upcoming fall and plan to rush for a sorority. I'm from Chicago, have a 3.4 gpa, very involved in my highschool (4 year varsity cheerleader, student council, and in youth in gov) but I don't know anyone that currently attends ole miss nor do I have any family that went there. I would like to know when I should start getting recommendation letters and how to go about finding people to write them, what else I should do and any other helpful advice

Getting recommendation letters is a great start, get two or more for each sorority if you can. Be sure to check the Ole Miss Panhellenic site for the more specific instructions and then check each Sorority's website to see if they have additional directions. Check with your family, teachers, friends Moms, church friends, neighbors, etc for possible recommendation letters. Best wishes for a successful rush!

Chicago should have a panhellenic alumni group, look them up and talk to them about writing your recs. Also see if there is an Ole miss alumni group to for Chicago. That is a city where you should find a ton of resources just by doing a bit of research.
By the way you really gave to much information for an anonymous website
