by: 2016In your opinion, who had the best pledge class this year? I'm just curious, I don't want to stir up drama because everyone got amazing girls and should be very proud of their pledge classes.

I can assure you that neither KD or DDD gave out any snap bids on bid day last year. Our campus has a medical clinic that offers free and confidential mental health screenings. I highly suggest you seek treatment.

DDD and KD actually both gave out snap bids this year (for pnms who don't know this a snap bid is basically their actives walking around to other houses on bid day and trying to convince the girls at other houses to come accept a bid to their house, for whatever reason. I'll leave that implication up to you.)- they both came to the house that I rushed, all the way over on rebel drive (not even on their precious sorority row) to try to get last minute girls.

...you can't give a snap bid to a girl who received a bid to another house - therefore DDDs and KDs couldn't have walked over to, say, Phi Mu, and offered girls in their new pledge class a bid. That is not how snap bids work.

KD and DDD were at my bid day for whatever reason as well. I don't think it was to give snap bids though.

Actives go to other sorority houses on bid day ALL THE TIME to see their friends that went something else. Just because someone you rush doesn't pick your house doesn't mean you aren't friends anymore, and these actives are excited for their friends, so they go to their new sorority to congratulate them and take some pics. I had a friend in another sorority come see me at my house on bid day, too. It's completely normal and it does NOT mean actives are offering snap bids at other houses. I saw many other sorority girls on my lawn congratulating their friends along with my friend who came to see me.
Our greek community is more united than this website makes it seem...while yes we have cattiness and competition between houses sometimes, we also have unity. I have friends in SO many different sororities and it doesn't change our friendship. We buy tickets to each others philanthropy events, study together at one of our sorority houses, eat lunch together at one of our sorority houses, etc. It's fun to have friends outside your sorority. And if one of my good friends that I'm currently rushing doesn't pick my house, you best bet I will be going to their new house to congratulate them because I'm happy they found their home, even if it wasn't where I found mine.

As for houses on the row: Kappa got a great pc with some questionables, tridelt got a bunch of weird girls, kd got about half weird and half good looking girls, phi mu got a good pc, dg got randoms and all the cheerleaders
As for houses on rebel drive: aopii got all really sweet girls, theta got some good looking girls but their known stereotype does show, adpi did pretty well, pi phi got a really good looking pc but a lot of girls got it as their second choice, chi o smart girls never really hear about them kinda forgotten about a lot

Correct, the ChiOs are really the forgotten group aren't they? They got some weird girls too. Kappa did get some questionable girls, DG hit it out of the park with randoms, they did get some cheerleaders but that's not terribly impressive.
KD was not half and half more like only 1/4 weird girls the rest pretty decent, PhiMu did ok and DDD was the worst, the absolute worst in years. Sorry but true.
AOPi, ADPi, and Theta don't have much to complain about. They all got pretty stellar girls. Growth potential is impressive.
