Do women get dropped after 22 party? Sure. Do a lot of women get dropped after 22? No. Most likely it is GPA or a total lack of social skills. Recruitment is noisy and loud and chaotic. If you're shy or introverted, quite possibly the process might be overwhelming. But you will never know until you give it a try.
