sorry, but your rank is incorrect. As much as everyone hates to admit it, Kappa is a top tier house. They pair with all the top frats, whether people like them or not is irrelevant. Also, AXO is a top tier. AOPi is above Phi Mu and AGD is above SDT

who cares what a PNM thinks the ranking is? They aren't even at the school yet so they have no clue what they are saying

I was curious how Theta could be in the number 2 spot for number of initiates with only 125 chapters. Sounds like a little fuzzy math to me.

Looks like Theta and Kappa are back at it again. Kappa is NOT a top tier house at IU and it's time you face it and quit lurking sites like this trying to self promote and bash houses. Your envious antics hurt your rep more. Alpha Chi has been middle tier for at least four years. Theta should be on the very last line, btw!

is probably the most accurate one that you'll get on this website. only thing i'd do is put kappa a little bit higher and SDT lower.

TPA lands in the bottom simply by virtue of the fact that they are new. They had a great recruitment and we need more chapters to accommodate PNM's so let's be supportive. Alpha Sig is starting to recruit for their colony....

is never going to be anything besides an off-campus, bottom tier sorority so keep dreaming and stop self-promoting your house.

There has been talk about the importance of the strength of the chapters. I did research on this and will present it here for other PNMs to review. I hope it helps. Houses were ranked according to date chapter began,min gpa requirement,years in panhell,#of members,# of chapters,parents/colleges rank, Ed in Review Rank, and GR of national sororities. This is a national rating only. It will have little bearing on how we feel about the houses here at IU but it will give everyone a little knowledge. IU has many very strong Greek chapters so we will know there is money behind the houses. That is important which is why I thought investigating each house's national reputation was worthwhile. I hope this is useful for everyone who goes through recruitement although I have heard that Theta and Kappa are not very well liked at IU. I haven't had any personal dealings with Theta but I can confirm about Kappa. I have siblings at IU who have told me things in addition to what I've observed at parties at home from girls who are Kappas. The way girls behave outside their chapters leave lasting memories.
I also realize the ranking on GR at IU focuses on that chapter only.
