How to get into a frat party?

As a girl who is not in a sorority, how do I go about getting into a frat party? Some people have said you can just walk in if you are pretty, but others say you need to be on a list. If you do need to be on a list, how do you get on it?

If ur hot they’ll let you in, if not u need to ask a brother to get u on the list
