Extremely depressed
by: iuUsually I don’t open up like this but Ive seen all my friends rush frats here and have the time of their lives. I didn’t decide to rush because of financial situations but It’s still really depressing for me at IU not doing anything when everything revolves around greek life and I could’ve had the opportunity. Sorry for posting this it’s just a rant and frustrating for me.

I can tell you life will always be like this. People see friends and neighbors living a fun, exciting lifestyle, buying houses in great neighborhoods and taking exoctic vacations. You are in a unique position because you can major in a valuable skill and make money when you leave college to get the lifestyle you want. Major in finance, engineering or comp sci and you’ll be fine.

Get a comp science major. Finance guy here that F’ed off a little too hard his first two years in a house. Go CS bro and make bank when u graduate

That's true but they're not guaranteed and not getting one while paying dues is a risk a lot of financially troubled students can't take. And that's to say nothing of the many other costs of being in a frat
