There’s a quota on how many girls you can give a bid to. PNM’s have 2 chapters they visit. Chapters have 9 rounds of recuiting. Usually 30 girls in each round so 150-250 is pretty common. Unless girls drop which also happens so it kind of depends. This year it’s less because less PNM’s when through recruitment

You guys please ask your Rho gams stuff omg. Quota is based on the number of women attending pref round so it won’t be set until after pref. It’s been between 50-60 since we stopped bed rush

Hiii I know this week is crazy stressful and it’s honestly bs you still have to wait so long for pref lists but I promise you no one on this website can tell any pnm whether XYZ or ABC will invite you back to pref OR to bid day after that. Each house is given a very specific number they must invite back to pref and it is a different number for each chapter. From here each chapter is given the same quota based on the number of pnms who attended preference rounds. last year this number was 56 and it’s consistently been 50-60 at least the past 4-5 years

You got ur answer. I don’t even know how many girls will be invited to pref at my house bc I’m not on exec or recruitment team. That type of stuff isn’t just common knowledge

No every house has to invite a different number. This number isn’t 150-250 it’s XYZ invites 159 ABC invites 183 etc. etc. You aren’t going to figure out if you’ll be invited back based on odds and numbers.

So far I’m holding it together. I had lots of hard cuts and some good surprises with my invites.
So now I’ll hopefully go back to two.
My cousin is at a campus where if girls “maximize their options” they WILL be placed. She said this means that you must rank 1 and 2 on your final two parties and you WILL get one.
Q: Do we do this? And if so, what if I just get ONE invite back to pref? Does this mean we get them if we list them as our choice?

If the houses you go to and put them as 1 and 2. You will get one of those houses!

Every house invites back around 150-200 girls. Even the bottom tier houses.
