Why are DU & Lambda so low in tiers if they’re both top 5 longest continuous chapters here

In the past decade DU has had multiple membership reviews losing most of their house and pretty much had to start over. Lambda stays in trouble

And to add, they haven't always been so low in tiers. However, then a membership review happens and they get dragged down and had to start over again.

In the not so distant past (before houses would constantly be put on probo and suspended), houses would drop dramatically if you were put on probation. Since it is so normal now, it doesn't affect anything as much.

I’m pretty sure the fact that we’ve had 9 frats kicked off in the last 4 years + 11 frats chartering and rechartering in the last 11 years is relevant
