out of state frats
by: yoim a freshman and rushing next year but im from milwaukee and dont know anyone there. are there any good frats that take a lot of out of state guys there that i should rush

I’d say phi delt and Acacia would be your best bets if you don’t know anyone. Both of them are tough to get a bid at but I know a couple of kids in each that were out of state and got bids without knowing anyone. Phi sig is another good out of state one but usually you have to know at least somebody to have a chance

Phi delt is hard to get a bid at acacia not so much, I rushed there twice (dropped another house re rushed) they’re kinda weird tho even tho they’re ranked high

Yeah I guess but they damn near have the most kids come through there for rush since Acacia is the only even remotely decent house on the day they have rush which is an advantage for them and makes it harder to get a bid. I wish the days the good houses hold rush were spread out more evenly

Nah if you’re average you’ll fs get a mid tier bid if you’re dope and a chiller without knowing someone you’ll get a top tier bid, it’s not always abt connects just be a dope kid

Having connects is obviously super helpful but houses take kids who don’t know anyone, top or bottom. A lot harder at the top but still possible. Rush some mid/low houses too like theta chi, sig pi, du, asig, or lambda and see what you like best.
