Yeah, who would want a queen size bed all to themselves when you could be sleeping in a single bed, in a cold dorm with 80 other girls? Not to mention everyone breathing in everyone else's germs. As to cooking and cleaning - maids aren't cleaning your study rooms, so chill the f out. If you miss a meal time, you're screwed and have to scrounge around, so not real different.
