ddd pledges
by: weWhat do you think will happen to the DDD pledges that have no home? Will they be pirahas? or will they be embraced as sophomores with no issues? I heard a couple from the class have already gone to other houses. My cousin is at Nebraska and she said DDD just removed 50+ sisters from the house. She wasn't sure if the sisters removed became alumni or if they were banished from DDD forever. What is going on with DDD National? These stories are a bit scary as everyone involved seems to say the same thing, namely that communication was terrible.

Do you honestly believe that the DDD members are not to blame? That their actions had nothing to do with it? You honestly believe the EO pulled the charter on a whim? Because they had nothing better to do?
Typical millennial. God help you when you get out into the real world.

To any member of DDD posting on the pages of GR, please use your time more wisely. Your sorority has maintained silence on these matters because it is the fraternal order of things. If you can, change your order and its exec board from within. Have the decency and tact to refrain from posting on anonymous websites about any DDD matters, which are and should always remain private.

To the first person who responded to my previous post:
"...chapter members ignored recommendations."
If there is one premise for why Tri Delta got kicked off campus in the first place, it is the simple fact that these ladies didn't want to accept, let alone appreciate, the help which their advisors & EO were giving them to get back on track. And that's what Tri Delta's Nationals were there for: to help the IU chapter find its way back to greatness.
Is it the NMs' fault that Tri Delta got shut down? No. Is it the Exec Board's fault for not being transparent & accountable, as well as failing to uphold the very values which Tri Delta was founded upon? Yes. So stop calling out the advisors & Tri Delta's EO for doing the right thing. It may not be the right thing in your eyes, but for Tri Delta's EO, it most certainly was the only desirable route worth taking to honor their sorority's good name.

Typical millennial attitude: "It's not my fault, it's always someone else's."
Tri Delta's EO didn't pull the charter at IU for laughs. That particular chapter was a liability/on extreme probation for quite some time & the undergraduates (not counting the NMs who didn't get initiated this year) had an integral role in why things came to a head in the fashion that they did. So it is THEIR fault for why their chapter got closed up. End of story.
