The greatest and best of I.U. men have been Sigma Nus; such as: Chancellor Emeritus Herman B. Wells; Founder Frank O. Beck, for whom Beck Chapel is named; and former I.U. Foundation President William Armstrong, for whom Armstrong Stadium is named. Sigma Nu has had many Presidents of the Board of Trustees, including Fenwick T. Reed and Pat Shoulders. Famous athletes Jimmy Rayl, John Laskowski and Chet Jastremski have been Sigma Nus. Former Athletic Director Clarence Doninger is also a Sigma Nu
