Alpha Tau Omega - ΑΤΩ Fraternity Ratings at IU

One slip up? Like seriously. The fact that one of their pledges (or brothers) engaged in depraved/untoward activity with a stripper & the fact that ΑΤΩ's video also went viral proves that they didn't slip up just once. (FYI: ΑΤΩ had a serious house cleaning a few years back so this isn't their first rodeo with Nationals.). And ΑΤΩ's not going to be back at IU since Nationals yanked their charter - period. Get a reality check & stop defending those tools - they're an embarrassment to IU Greek life.

You say they had a house cleaning a few years back... You realize that this was 5 years ago, meaning that every brother that was there at that time is long gone. So for you to think that this was done by the same group individuals would be outrageous. The only think that connects them is the letters they wear, which could connect them with any ATO in the country. What they did wasn't even that bad, it's just independents and kids with social media overreacting. All these irrelevant people who think they have a voice. You can't tie all the members to one incident either.

Sweetheart, you do realize that during the 2013-2014 school year, they had 11 ethics board cases... This wasn't a bad apple, they have an entire house of degenerates. Just because they have a huge house and are nice to hot girls at parties doesn't make them good guys. They've been on razor thin ice for years and this was the straw that broke the camel's back..

You realize that there are more than 100 members. How can you sit behind your screen and say that each individual is a degenerate. Their president alone was one of the hardest working and nicest guys in the Greek system. You cannot assume all this. 11 ethics board cases, let's say it was 11 different people, which it was likely the same person for 2 or maybe even 3. That makes up about 10% of their active brothers, less if it was the same person. And just because there were ethics board cases, doesn't mean that they faced consequences in those ethics board cases. They may have been minor issues.

And 2013-14? Realize that it is not 2015-16 year. Meaning the kids who warranted those 11 ethics board cases are now gone..

Here's the thing: ATO had a few years of time on their hands to get things right & become a truly exemplary Greek organization. But they dropped the ball in getting rid of their toxic chapter culture altogether. Now look where they are now: Permanently gone from IU.
