PNM Question about Greek Life

Is it possible to balance Greek life and being part of professional orgs on campus? I want to advance my career in professional orgs, but still have fun and be social in college through Greek life

Yes, it’s not easy but most of us work hard and play hard. We don’t go out every night so there’s you can balance your time. Meetings can be overwhelming so being in another org you would have to be super organized.

i don’t know if i could handle being in a sorority and a professional group too. being greek and going to school are huge commitments and both take up a lot of time. im sure it can be done but it sounds like a lot of stress. it depends on your courseload

Yes! I am apart of a professional org and Greek org! Honestly the most overwhelming part is the new member process for both so join both at the same time because that can get very overwhelming. But other than that it’s not to stressful. I’ve managed to be involved in both, keep up good grades, and still maintain a nice social life! I do think the stress of this depend on your major as well but you should definitely go for it!
