Freshman PNM Question
by: Freshman PNMSerious question: I'm going to UCF this fall as a freshman majoring in Aerospace engineering w/ a minor in CS. I'm tryna rush because I'm looking for a group of boys to make lifelong memories with and most of my fam was in Greek life in college. Ik UCF doesn't have as many chapters as other schools do but I'm looking for a chapter that will bring me up rather than bring me down, I'm very driven and really really care about my studies and professional dev. I'm looking to be in a social chapter for the party/social scene, not a professional chapter like Theta Tau. What chapters do yall think might be the best fit given my goals?

Sorry I don’t know the gpas of all chapters because I don’t live on this site or internalize any of this data like you do. He sounds like a pikapp. Tke has a good gpa but the majority of them like to go out and don’t prioritized studies that heavily and aren’t super hard majors. If you think that’s a better fit suggest it to him.

If you want chapters that are fun and social
Theta Chi, ATO, PhiDelt, KSig, ZBT, SAE, DSig, TKE
If you want chapters that aren’t as going out, social / fun:
Fiji, PiKapp, Tep, Beta
The ones that are social have less of a prioritization of studies. The ones that go out less do. Even the chapters with high gpas don’t always mean that’s their priority. Look into their majors.

pi kapp's guys dont even have a 3.0 avg gpa and their culture is way off. why would you suggest that to him? i'm thinking more like tke or delt for him
