ucf panhellenic is horrible
by: sororitiesi’m literally disgusted by ucf pan rn and i’m in a sorority myself. How are you going to let the chapters do whatever tf they want when they preach inclusivity and the fact that everyone has a fair chance to join their chapter? but then when a girl wants to try and join a sorority for spring rush u don’t even have the respect to at least tell her no. ucf has the WORST spring recruitment layout out of every school. at least UF, USF, and even FSU are making sure their students get to at least sign up for COB. ucf is just letting the chapters run it. ucf pan is failing imo.

Pan manages formal recruitment in the fall and that’s a large task. Spring recruitment is informal and each chapter does what they want. It’s nice to have give chapters some freedom, but at the very least there should be COB sign up. Every year the PNMs have questions about the process.
The set up now is confusing and not fair since chapters just ignore girls and just leave them guessing, the least they could do is respond.

y’all need to relax with the angry comments. disappointed seems reasonable, disgusted is a bit much. improvements do seem necessary though. there is absolutely no reason for chapters to not respond to messages. we ask pnms to reach out so ignoring them is unacceptable.

yeah ur right. this was only making me upset bc my younger cousin who’s a freshman was trying to do spring rush and she was calling me crying that nobody is even answering her. it hurts me to see her so upset when i know she’s an amazing young woman. the least the other chapters can do is answer her and the other girls:( i wish pan would step in and try to guide things a little
