I do care a little bit I want to live in a nice house with my future sisters. Honestly that’s part of the reason I ranked one over the other

it really doesn’t bother me! i liked dz a lot and would be happy to run home there but one with a house is still my top choice for now

My roommate is a DZ and she and her friends are great! They are always doing fun things around town. Their dues are more affordable than the ones who have a mandatory meal plan. So that is something to consider.

You should join a sorority where you feel most at home. I wouldn't worry about them having a house or not. They will still have philanthropy events, sisterhood retreats, formals, etc. It just depends are your priorities, though. And some people just can't get past the house thing, though, which is sad.

I don't think it would bother me that much because I live off campus and don't want to live in a sorority house anyway. My sister lived in her house at UF and it was pretty expensive and had constant drama going on. Just isn't my vibe.

Both chapters without a house have an amazing alumni involvement Nationwide. A lot of girls are only focused on their status at UCF, but after college choosing one that is well established and strong can really provide connections for you!

This makes me laugh because my mom was an Alpha Xi Delta back in the day. She always says while they were good at her college years ago, she wishes she would have chosen Tri Delta (her number two choice) because they have such a great alumni presence. I don't even see hers on this list. Guess she was right?

Alpha xi is NOT very big nationally. It’s a great chapter at UCF but many Greeks in the professional world will not have heard of alpha xi. If you want a good UCF experience, alpha xi might be a good option. If you want connections post grad, it might not be a good choice.

choose a sorority for sisterhood, most of us are joining to make true friendships.

key word: “most of us”
not everyone joins just for friendship/sisterhood. professional connections are a major deciding factor for most as well, so it’s important they know this information
