GR, IG, Ranks & Recruitment

Before recruitment, I was on GR and believed all the rank posts. When I actually went through recruitment I found out that some info was spot on but some chapters were very very different from what I had read about. Also, not every chapter posts all their girl on Instagram so you don’t know what they are truly like until you go to meet them…and have conversations with them.
I am happy to say that I love my chapter and found the best friends I could have ever asked for going through recruitment. I also have friends in other chapters that love their chapters as well. The best advice I could give any PNM is to make connections and embrace the chapter that picks you. Do not join because of ranks, the ranks change and the ranks are based on opinions. No one really cares here about ranks besides a few groups of girls that still have a high school mentality.

we’re the only school to do “chapter descriptions” which imo does more harm than good. bc how can u describe 150 girls? how can u know all of them? it’s usually biased asf and untrue and dated.
that’s why literally so many girls are pushing for just ranks which our ranks are actually rlly accurate.
the one who does the posts and bumping heart is in the right place but it’s all biased and untrue. i wish they’d just stop. it’ll make the site fun again. it’s so formal now and they don’t even let us have convo.

Yeah but no. They don’t push it down ur throats every day. They don’t bump to drown out convo. They only bump ranks as they should. Everyone only bumps ranks and allows us to have convo. We know not to hate on chapters during recruitment. UCF GR is too formal and not fun anyway. U made all the tops never use it.

bffr tops use it i live with them. glad we have one set of ranks and legit data instead of 15 different rankings like other schools. who cares it’s greekrank

why do they feel the need to defend bumping and descriptions? a lot of us don’t like it what’s the big deal?

“push ranks” bc they are opinions
“don’t bump info” bc they are facts
“push what you want” “post what you want” bc you can do what you want
no one is in charge and we are all different with very different opinions. post whatever tge hell you want. people will stop bullying bc we have all your backs

This post is about not listening to the ranks and forming your own opinions. The ranks are not facts they are about how Greeks see you, your looks and popularity. Just stop!

there’s lots of judgment on this site. how about the post that saying there are only 4 relevant chapters? another one is the looks and popularity ranking. is it mean to rate chapters as bottom for their looks? get a life

The tops have the prettiest girls and that’s just a fact. As an average far above everyone else. They also have the best philanthropy events, and relations sol

Telling top they are not all gorgeous is mean but telling bottom they are the worst looking isn’t? Make it make sense. Mean is mean no matter what tier.

Telling top tier girls to humble themselves is a nice way to put it actually. Not all of a chapter if 150 can be great looking. Get over yourselves and stop worry about GR opinions if you are a secure, confident top.

I see where you’re coming from but the ranks are facts as of right now and it’s a fact tops have better looking girls and are more popular on campus. Just stop pnms also do care about the stuff and should be able to know all the info and make their own decisions
