how important is gpa?
by: gpahow important is gpa for sorority recruitment? im a transfer student with a gpa on the lower end (2.9) and i was wondering how rush would be for me?

so the minimum is a 2.5 for sororities and a 2.75 for pledges (guys)
it depends on the sorority so i’ll give u a breakdown.
your GPA is not bad at all for Greeklife. however, if you ever are under a 2.5 and want to rush you’ll be dropped from every house.
ΑΕΦ, ΧΩ & ΑΔΠ have really high GPA’s and will only take you if someone in your PC has a high enough GPA to keep theirs high. but since you’re at a 2.9 you’re pretty good.
ΚΔ, ΖΤΑ, ΚΑΘ & ΠΒΦ have the lowest GPA’s so maybe prioritize them.
