Baiting For Attention

A narcissist will bait someone for their
own amusement, to relieve boredom or
extract narcissistic supply. Any reaction
from you constitutes supply. They will
bait or provoke you to gain attention
and any reaction from you good or
bad, if they succeed in making you
angry, it proves to them that they have
power over you. If at first they don't
succeed, they may continue to
aggravate you until eventually you snap,
and they get the desired response.
