why is phi gamma ranked so high? and phi delta low?
by: curious
at ifc kick off me and my group (we formed 5 minutes at the door before opening) discussed greekrank and the ranks dont seem right?
phi del seems like they should be in the top category
phi g doesn’t seem better than the other frats we spoke with like SAE or DSig
why are they ranked so low? and fiji so high? i want phi del but want to be top!

SAE has faced a huge scandal and has been down ranked due to it and not having a house.
Phi Delta is a great fraternity and has a lot of great qualities and are seen as up there but are lacking in departments where Theta Chi, Sigma Chi & ATO are strong.
Phi Gamma Delta is nicknamed “Fiji” nationally and Fiji has recently jumped from being lower mid (where SAE currently is) to the top true mid.

welcome newbies! you are new so you don’t really know the frats or how our ranks are decided here. Here’s info for you.
Rank/Tier Considerations:
Campus relevance, strong membership & retention, new member class, looks, personality, social life, philanthropy events, srat & frat relations, Greek involvement, diversity, remaining in good standing with ofsl, house/no house.
(Not gpa or athletics, we’re social/philanthropic organizations, not academic or sports teams)

greek rank is just inaccurate. phi delt is more top and sae and dsig are seemingly better frats than fiji but we have greek rank police that for some reason believe they are an elected governmental body that dictates tiers. you think those feats are better because you are right, they are. but the greek rank police say otherwise
