what’s up with the sorority ranking?

if you’re a “top” sorority but have no relations with “top” fraternities, shouldn’t that kick u down to upper mid? or whatever rank ur relations and overall stats should put u in?
(not calling out a particular sorority just asking)

Don't take the ranks too seriously here. And don't put too much of an emphasis on us guys.
If a sorority is considered top but doesn't have top relations, nobody irl sees them as top.
Like the case with Theta. They're ranked 'upper mid' but nobody sees them in that way and their guys status confirms that. Ofc they're gonna say "Comp Wins" bc that's literally all they've got and even then they've never won a top or upper mid comp. Pi Phi and DDD are true examples of Upper Mid bc you'll actually see Tops and Upper Mid interact with them, have socials with them, ask them to hoco etc. But ofc, theta will bring up "comp wins and involvement"

campus relevance, strong membership & retention, new member class, looks, personality, social life, philanthropy events, srat & frat relations, Greek involvement, diversity, remaining in good standing with ofsl, house/no house.

u will not see an actual top have no top relations. or an actual upper mid have no upper mid & top relations. its obvious that our ranks are based on many things but ur not "top" if u dont have "top" relations. which is what this post is asking.

relations have little to do with ranks. your chapters value is not in what frats you socialize with. your chapter has much more to offer than the guys you have relations with.

i dont think anyone was causing trouble bc all of our top sororities and upper mid sororities have top and upper mid relations. i think its just a simple yes or no question. lmfao.

The post didnt even mention mixing with low tier or mid tier making u low. U guys spend way too much on this site and take everything so seriously.
TKE won KD & PiPhi and theyre a very low ranked frat.
DSig has strong relations with ADPi and Theta and theyre mid too.

nobody actually sees theta as upper mid. u must either be a pledge or a new initiate. these ranks arent exactly accurate.
