Bid Day Advice
by: Bid DayI mean this with love when I say this, if you are not happy, you can deny your bid. We’re all told that everything is for the best and that’s usually the case. Sometimes we get a bid from a chapter we don’t want to join. If you are not 100% happy or don’t think you could be in that chapter, you don’t have to sign the bid card. You could do COB, Continuous Open Bidding or do informal recruitment in the spring. You might end up still not getting the chapter(s) you want because they might not choose you again. Just wanted to let you know you have options.

If you’re not 100% happy, you will never ever be fully happy in that chapter. If you open your bid and you’re not crying tears of joy, try a different option. It’s OK to deny a bid, And don’t let any other chapters or any other comments make you feel like you should go ahead with it even if you don’t feel like at home. You can make friends in chapters but still not feel like you’re home. Be careful ladies
