Sorority Recruitment Advice

Potential New Members…

Follow all the chapters. If you follow only the top tiers it’s not the best look. Keep an open mind, there are 12 great chapters to look at.

Do a little research on the ones you really want (values, philanthropy, what they are known for nationally, etc)

Be yourself, don’t be what you think people want. You don’t want to end up in a house where you don’t fit in.

Don’t gossip. Ask questions and be memorable by talking about what makes you different.

Go where you feel comfortable. Do you want a hot fake friend or a true sister? Ranks mean absolutely nothing in the real world. Sisterhood is most important. Who do you want to be friends with?

Don’t take anything personally. You never know how many bids a chapter has to give out and who they already know. You will end up where you belong. You should want a chapter that wants you.

Don’t base your decision on what other girls are doing. Follow your heart, not the crowd.

Have fun, try not to look nervous. Enjoy finding your people.

Look your best. Don’t get a fake orange tan.
