ZTA Lip Sync a scam?

Does the money from the lip sync actually go towards breast cancer awareness or is it just for them to spend on themselves

This is what their packet says

WHAT IS LIP SYNC?
Lip Sync is an annual dance competition
hosted by the women of UCF's Zeta Tau
Alpha benefitting our national
philanthropy, Breast Cancer Education
and Awareness. We educate the public
about breast cancer and how they can
get involved in the cause! This year we
will be hosting this competition at the Addition Arena.


however, their donations all go to the Zeta Tau Alpha Scholarship fund...

Goes towards zeta foundation and they determine what they do with the money. So pretty much they use it for their blow supply on bid day! Any extra $$ goes towards breast cancer awareness! How sweet!

Money goes towards “awareness” not “research”. Basically they get the money and use it for scholarships for their girls nationwide.
