My KD Daughter
by: Knight MomHello! I’m a mother of an incoming Legacy for Kappa Delta and was inquiring about how easy it will be for her to get a bid? Should she get rec letters? Me and her really want her to be in a good house! I rushed at Ole Miss and know this school is different!! Thank you!

Letters of recommendation honestly don’t mean as much at a new school like UCF like they would an older SEC school where Greek Life is respected. They will consider her a little more as a legacy and will probably be invited back for one round, but unfortunately if she doesn’t fit the mould of what their reputation is here (skinny, social, at least a 8/10 pretty, decent sized following on social media) she likely won’t get a bid. I hate that they have a reputation of being so shallow at this school, but best of luck she finds her home!
