What is the KD Daggerman competition?

Im new to greek life and was stalking sigma chi's instagram and saw their Daggerman candidate post (sick pic btw) but I was just wondering what is KD Daggerman? and are they doing it this year?

Yeah so basically it’s their spring philanthropy. Each fraternity offers up a candidate, and each guy is given a dagger, and then there is a fight to the death, and the last man standing is KD’s Daggerman for the year

Last year it was known as the Caesar Challenge. So kinda like the opposite. I would understand how people get confused. They had lil Caesars cater though, which was fun!
