Letters frowned upon DT?

I’m a “geed” but my friend is in Greek life and he said that they’re not allowed to wear letters downtown, anyone know why?

Because people tend to be drunk idiots downtown and greek organizations don’t want their chapter being represented poorly. One person’s dumb choices can get the whole chapter in trouble
