honestly the whole idea of having recruitment this fall frustrates me beyond belief. it’s not realistic to hold recruitment in the same manner that is usually is but over zoom. protocols need to be formed to change the way we recruit this fall or just push it to spring if that’s too much work to do (unlikely considering that chapters need the new member dues). i don’t really know why someone would want to rush this sem when they’re paying to do practically nothing and i think a lot of people have the same mindset and are choosing to wait. this means not all chapters will hit their recruitment quotas, which is harmful to those chapters that don’t. it literally just doesn’t make sense to me and the idea of a virtual bid day makes me so sad. i would just rather wait until spring, but that’s just my opinion.

Would rather be a geed than waste money on being in an essentially “virtual” sorority .... just seems like a waste of time for everyone

i said that i don’t understand why anyone would want to JOIN, but i understand why chapters want to have recruitment. my chapter would take a BIG hit if we didn’t have it so i get why but it’s just kinda confusing and frustrating yknow
