How is rush going to happen this fall?

I’m wondering what the plan is? as some say it’s going to be moved to online I know many girls are not going to want to go through recruitment if that’s the case and if they do how will it work?

Literally all the girls will join one zoom and shake their ass. Recruitment will be based off of that srats values and whether or not they see them as a good fit in their chapter.

bylaws state that they present it then two weeks later they vote. They can’t change it just for this event so they’ll vote in a week or two... they’ve been working very hard on recruitment

What happens once you join? How are sororities going to do anything when there’s no parties or tailgates? Are they even going to be allowed to have a meeting? Why would someone pay hundreds of dollars a month to be in a Zoom meeting?

Exactly! There’s no reason to join a sorority this semester, you’re not going to be able to meet people anyway unless they make us all do zoom dates with new members.

With the current cases on the rise in person recruitment is out of the books, doubt they will allow a hybrid as well, and I just think zoom recruitment is just as bad, you have someone with horrible internet connection, and you can’t really pick up on their personality as well as in person. Recruitment she just be moved to spring or fall 2021.

If we do zoom for the entire recruitment, how is bid day gonna work? We’re just all gonna be together anyways in person, how’s that any different? I’m assuming there’s not gonna be a bid day then?

We could have zoom meetings till video day and then for pref, pnms can visit the houses cause parties will be smaller in sizes. And then bid day could be divided in two groups with all safety measures?
