what makes DZ so bad? is it because they don’t have a house? i understand why gamma phi is but DZ seems like they could easily be near theta/chi o/axid if they had a house

I agree but every sorority is good for different reasons. To me dz gives off rly laid back vibes and tend to be really unproblematic so if you don’t care about a house and you vibe with them go for it

Tbh I liked dz all through recruitment. I went there and my current sorority now. The reason I chose my current one over dz was 1) because of a house and 2) I honestly felt more at home there. But had I not ended up getting my number one choice on pref I would’ve been happy in dz

dz is really not bad at all and id say vastly different from gphi imo. them two just get grouped together as "bottom" because theyre houseless, but dz is more similar to chi o in types of girls than they are gphi. it all comes down to whether having a house is important to you or not. some pnms could care less, some its a deal breaker. idk best thing to do is go thru recruitment and get a feel for them yourself

There are a lot of cute girls in DZ, more so than Kappa and AEPhi. It’s because of the house. But if you don’t care about living in the house anyway or being forced to be on a meal plan, DZ is a good option.
