something needs to change
by: Read MeAlthough this website is very toxic, it is a place where a good number of people in greek life can be reached. I know this is long but bear with me. In case you have not been paying attention recently, UCF is extremely cruel and unfair with it's greek life. As a community, If we want to stay part of this campus, we need to raise our voices. We have seen a crazy number of chapters get in "trouble" and go through student conduct lately. Suspension after suspension, Some being justified and some being very uncalled for. If we don't fight for a change, It's only a matter of time before most if not all of the chapters here will be kicked off. If you are unaware of the situation (only using this as an example) The charges that they are trying to kick Sigma Chi off campus for are actually so minuscule that it's unbelievable. If you haven't read the article yet, I would suggest you do. An anonymous report that states that a student "may have seen" a cup thrown at someone by a brother at a local bar is going to possibly be the downfall of an entire chapter (anonymous report almost brought down pi phi too). Something needs to change or else we will all be gone soon. We need to stop laughing at the most recent frat that gets in trouble or gossiping about who broke up with who on this website and address real solutions to what we can do to change this flawed and broken system. Let ofsl know...someone start a petition...lets throw ideas around...lets use this website for something actually productive for once so w can save ourselves.

That idea was thrown around a couple years ago when The Way Forward 2.0 was slapped in our face. Most people now accept it as status quo, but we aren’t allowed to host more than 1 party a semester in houses even if we legally own the place on campus or in the Greek ghetto. It was supposed to be a temporary solution and it’s overstayed it’s welcome.

You will never be able to convince me some geeds have our best interests in mind, if they get elected greek life as we know it is done
