harrassed me at walmart

I was just minding my business doing some halloween shopping at the Walmart on Colonial where I was suddenly approached/harrassed me by a random young man. He then claimed that he was a brother of the Delta Upsilon frat of proceeded to hand me a piece of paper and said that I had a bid to join. Can someone help me out because I am extremely confused.
