bid day

What if you feel like you made the wrong choice, or feel awkward like you don't know if you should be in a sorority after you opened your card?

Im in the same position. I say go through the new member period and see if you like it or not, my rho gamma told me that. You never know if you end up loving it. But as of now I feel really disappointed with my bid.

Ladies:
It is often normal to have buyer's remorse after the excitement of recruitment. Keep in mind that all of the sororities are a part of huge national organizations, all of which have wonderful reputations.

If you decide to withdraw prior to initiation, you'll have to wait until next fall to do recruitment again. And you realize that it is harder to get a bid as a sophomore than it is as a freshman.

The 2 things that women regret:
1. dropping out before completing recruitment
2. dropping out during the pledge period

Recruitment is a huge flurry of emotions. Don't let these emotions over-rule common sense.

I feel the same way. I got my top choice but now I wish I wouldn't have picked them over my other choices.
