Just because they are a bottom house does not mean anything. If you like the girls in it you should stay. If you had good conversations you should stay. You shouldn’t rush the tier system, you should rush the people and philanthropy that speak to you. It doesn’t matter the tier of your house if you don’t fit in you will be unhappy. So go where the people are the best to you — not just where you think is cool. Being somewhere you feel you belong is more important than the tier system. Take it from someone who went top and doesn’t fit in.

How much do you want to be in a sorority. I rushed last year and quit after I was left with only two bottom tier houses. That semester I immediately made friends with girls who pledged one of the houses I rejected. Now I’m rushing and hoping I get into that house. I wish I’d just stayed. They were nice. I was too worried about what others thought.

There’s really nothing wrong with being in a bottom tier sorority, all of the sororities do the same type of events, if you’re rushing to get a higher status when it comes to impressing and getting guys that could be for the wrong reason. You should finish the week and run home to wherever you got a bid from and if you end up hating it drop before you get initiated , who knows if adpi will even recruit for sure in the spring, what makes you think you’ll definitely get a bid?
