what does it take to move up tiers

It seems no matter how good a rush class is, no matter how many competitions and IMs a fraternity wins, and no matter how many other sororities they start relations with, the tiers are stagnant. Why is it so hard to make improvements to your chapter in the eyes of the community. It seems no matter what you do or how hard you put in the work its all useless. So what the hell does it take to go from a Sigma Nu to a Sigma Chi

The tier system is based on who is dominant every semester with the best looking and most fun pledge classes and the best events and whoever attracts the most attention from sororities. Frats like sigma chi and ato have been top for years and frats like delta sig and zbt have been meh for years, thats just the way things are.

Bc frats at the top like sig chi ato phidelt don’t try to be top tier, and they’re still the best at sports, looks, and even the competitions( winners just raise the most).
People like zbt and kappa sig try to hard to be “frat” and end up looking corny as hell plus there are a bunch of weirdos in both of those and really only a small group of guys that are actually cool. You can go all out for hoco competitions and buy sororities everything but at the end of the day they’ll choose whoever they’ll have the most fun with. That’s why sororities barely show up to mid tier grab a dates.

Don’t worry so much about the tiers. Everyone knows that college is not the real world and after everyone graduates the ATO, Phi Delts and Sigma Chi guys will be working for the Fijis and TKEs in a cubicles making like 25K a year and living with mom and dad.
