Depends on the sorority -
KD, Tri Delt, ADPI, ZTA - mostly on looks and personality
I will say I was a little shallow my first year or two rushing. I would give a girl a lower score if she didn’t fit the look of our sorority. Now that I’m older, I don’t really care. I think the whole process is messed up to be honest. A lot of times you forget the people you talk to because you might talk to 4+ girls per party.
KD is pretty bad about looks. I’ve heard a lot of my friends in KD say you get rated as you walk in the door and if you fall below a certain number you won’t get invited back - doesn’t matter how involved you are, how good your conversation was, etc. If you aren’t “pretty enough,” you have no chance.

Also this isn’t supposed to offend anyone in KD. Everyone that rushes girls in guiltily of being superficial. It is better to be honest with PNM’s then to feed them “we don’t care about looks” bs.
