A roofed structure that offers an open view of the surrounding area, typically used for relaxation or entertainment. In contemporary England and North America, gazebos are typically built of wood and covered with standard roofing materials, such as shingles. Gazebos can be tent-style structures of poles covered by tensioned fabric. Gazebos may have screens to aid in the exclusion of flying insects.

Lambda Chi Alpha got in trouble years ago and lost their charter. Instead of falling apart, they stayed together as a group as "Gazoni". They are not a fraternity, they are not a registered UCF club, they are a group of guys. They aren't involved in homecoming or any major greek life event, and I believe pan sororities have rules in place about being involved with them.

From what I heard a few years ago in what’s now the pi kap house lambda chi threw a party, a group of guys from the Greek ghetto came and were denied entry so they tried to fight the brothers working door and someone who lived in the house fired a gun in the air to scare off the crowd attacking them. The cops were called for gun shots and ucf decided to pull their charter on a bogus charge because it made the news. The guys who were left didn’t like how thing ended so instead of disbanding and being done they took up the name gazoni and continued operating. The guys who are gazoni are pretty lit and my chapters pretty close with a couple. They still compete in sweethearts and other events from time to time under the name of other clubs on campus but we all really know it’s them. The structure is similar to what sigma pi is doing, neither can still have official events with sororities or compete but you’ll still see these orgs at tailgates and competitions just a little more low key
