is it bad to be in a bottom house?

If you love the girls in your house it shouldn't matter what "tier" they are

There are girls in "top tier" houses who are unhappy. You should feel lucky that you love your "bottom tier" house.

Being in a "bottom tier" house at U of A is not like being in a "bottom" house on other campuses. How many "bottom houses" on other campuses have 250-300 members? Being in any house here is something to be proud of.

talk about being insecure. You care that deeply about what other people think over the "tier" of your house that you would drop your friends over it? I am glad you are not my friend. That is super shallow. By junior year it does not matter....everyone is at the bars and all are friends.

im in a bottom tier house and i can truly say that anyone that cares too much about the tier we are in is someone that i dont really feel proud to call my sister.

i love my sorority because i gave it an honest chance when i was so sure i was better fit for a top tier house. i got a position, i made friends in every grade, i sat with new people at lunch every day, i went to events, and it became a part of my identity... the tier does not matter, it matters if you are open minded and confident in yourself and if you arent shallow.

if you truly feel ashamed of your house, do everyone in the house that is proud it it a favor and drop it. if you actually love it like you say you do, then i think you know the answer. nobody can tell you what to do because you need to decide whats really important to you
