new pcs

by: Truth

The fact of the matter is, 1700 girls went through rush. No house this year was hurting for new members, with that many girls every house managed to be at least a little selective. Arizona has more quality girls Han any other school, so EVERY house got great girls this year. Some PCs are better than others, but every PC is good. Look at the quality of girls at ASU vs the quality of girls here. No matter what house you join at UofA, you're still winning.

This is why we could use a new sorority chapter or two at UA. Demand exceeds supply.

Yes, we need at least 2 more NPC orgs. at UA. I would love to see Phi Mu and Delta Zeta colonize at UA soon.

Kappa Delta and Zeta Tau Alpha are both head and shoulders above DZ and PM. PM is only strong in places like Ole Miss.

The numbers in the original post is off by a thousand - 700 girls participated in formal recruitment this Fall - but yes, we need more sorority chapters with houses here at UA to match the number of IFC fraternities.

~115 pnms X 12 chapters = 1380 girls
And that doesn't account for any pnms that withdrew from recruitment...
I think there were a few more girls than 700.

fsp reported 700 girls to the daily wildcat in an article this past week (sept 1, 2015, 'Don't forget to "trust the process," ladies' by Emma Jackson): "According to the Panhellenic Council, 700 girls participated in formal recruitment this year, visiting all 12 Greek houses on campus over the course of seven days."

There were more than 700 pnms who went through. Either the daily wildcat got the number wrong or panhellenic reported the wrong number. about 1700 women were signed up for recruitment.
