fraternity spring rush
by: PNMIm a freshman and couldnt rush in the fall for personal reasons. How common is spring rush here for guys or is it even a thing here at all? Is it harder to get a bid if you rush in the spring as opposed to the fall? Should i wait until next year? Also, since im waiting to rush am i unable to go to any frat parties throughout the fall? Gracias ✌🏼

Most fraternities take anywhere from 15-25 during spring rush so the pledge classes are a lot smaller than fall rush. But then again, less kids rush during the spring. I wouldn't say that it's that much harder to get a bid during a spring. Pretty much every fraternity on campus turns away random kids trying to get into parties so you'll have to wait.
