by: PNMI have a really low GPA like low 2's. Do I have a chance at any house at all? I know I don't have a chance at a top house but I'm just curious if I'm going to get cut from recruitment as a whole...?

You certainly have a chance, but the odds are stacked against you. That means you are going to have to show you're a superstar in terms of personality, physical charisma, involvement, fit with the house, etc.
Do you also have a good explanation for your abysmal grades? Low 2s is pretty bad. That's barely above the bare minimum to stay in school. Will you be able to manage both your coursework and the commitments of a sorority? That's the million dollar question.

Obviously not someone part of a soroity at The U of A who wrote that nasty comment. No one in the community would want to make a PNM feel bad no matter what her GPA is.

Get real. You know no sorority is going to accept someone with a gpa that low. Everyone's going to grade cut her right away. Better she know this in advance than go through thinking she has a chance then feeling like it's personal when everyone cuts her. Sororities aren't for everyone. Study hard your first year to prove yourself then rush as a sophomore.

You don't know anything about this girls circumstances. Maybe she has a good explanation to why her GPA is so low. So shut up and don't ruin her confidence during recruitment. If you are strong in every other aspect you should end up somewhere. Good luck :)
