I have a 2.5 GPA from freshman year and I'm considering rushing a fraternity in the fall . My friend said it pretty much isn't worth it if you're not above 3.0, especially if you're a sophomore. Is this true?

You're going to be passed over by a lot of houses. They'd have to REALLY like you for you to be considered.
