bid?

Or maybe she should accept a bid to a lower tier house? There's no shame in joining a house that isn't "top". I fit pretty much the same description that the OP gave and also had a little below a 3.0 during rush. I joined a "lower" house but I am extremely happy. You don't NEED to join a top house.

I don't really hear of a lot of girls not getting bids. Especially good looking ones. Just keep an open mind about the sororities that offer you a bid. Chances are, your options will be limited because you have a low gpa. Nothing wrong with accepting a bid to a bottom house. Not saying it will happen to you, but I have lots of friends who are in lower tier houses and they are just as great as my friends in the top tier sororities. Your experience is what you make of it. This is from a guys perspective btw so I don't know exactly how sorority recruitment works.
