homecoming confusion
by: ?How does an entire fraternity ask an entire sorority to homecoming? Do only top houses get invited? Is it a few guys just find a fun creative way to ask a some soririty girls if they wanna go to a formal dance together and they just say that house is going with that? I know I could wait until I get into a house to find out but I'm confused and curious.

Homecoming isn't like how it is in high school. There's no dance.
Basically its a week long of events. The sorority and fraternity partner together and plan events, and build a float together. And party and tailgate together. And there's usually a date dash involved.
The fraternity asks the sorority by sending a bunch of guys over to the sorority to serenade them or do something cute, and then they ask them to do homecoming with them.
Its not just the top houses. All houses will do homecoming unless they are on probation.
